
OBJECTIVE OF THE POSITION:
Beverage Manager will direct the beverage operations of the hotel to ensure the achievement of established beverage quality and guest service quality standards and departmental revenue and profit goals. Ensure policy compliance, support the Company‘s initiatives, and promote a positive culture.
MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES:
1. Operational Management:
• Oversee daily beverage operations across all outlets (restaurants, pool bars, room service, banquet).
• Ensure consistent beverage quality, presentation, and service standards aligned with brand guidelines.
• Implement opening, closing, hygiene, and safety procedures in all beverage-related areas.
2. Menu & Product Development:
• Design, update, and cost beverage menus (cocktails, mocktails, wine, spirits, coffee/tea).
• Coordinate with Executive Chef and Marketing for pairing menus, promotions, and seasonal offerings.
• Introduce innovative beverage concepts aligned with market trends and guest preferences.
3. Guest Experience:
• Ensure personalized service and a strong presence in outlets during peak hours.
• Handle guest complaints, feedback, and special requests promptly and professionally.
• Build strong guest relations, creating memorable experiences that drive loyalty.
4. Financial & Cost Control:
• Manage beverage cost, pricing, and profitability in line with budget targets.
• Control inventory, conduct stock-taking, and minimize wastage or variance.
• Analyze POS sales reports and market trends to adjust strategies.
5. People Management:
• Lead, train, coach, and evaluate beverage team members to deliver high standards.
• Develop succession plans and identify future leaders within the team.
• Foster teamwork, motivation, and recognition to retain talents.
6. Sales & Marketing:
• Drive up-selling and cross-selling of beverage products across outlets.
• Create beverage-related publicity opportunities (wine tasting, cocktail classes, themed events).
7. Administration & Compliance:
• Ensure compliance with local regulations on alcohol service, hygiene, and safety.
• Maintain proper documentation for licenses, supplier contracts, and reports.
• Attend F&B and management meetings, sharing beverage-related updates and proposals.
8. Other Duties:
• Support F&B management team in achieving overall departmental goals.
• Perform other tasks assigned by F&B Director / F&B Manager / Assistant F&B Manager.
