1/ MISSION:
Ensure smooth and efficient banquet operations by implementing standard operating procedures and service standards. Control costs effectively while maximizing guest, employee, and owner satisfaction in line with Meliá Hotels International policies.
2/ MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Oversee daily banquet operations to ensure seamless event execution and high service standards.
- Plan and manage staff scheduling to maintain optimal coverage.
- Coordinate with internal departments and the Banquet Sales team for event planning and execution.
- Handle guest inquiries, requests, and complaints professionally and promptly.
- Maintain strong guest relations and ensure personalized service delivery.
- Supervise function setup in accordance with event orders and ensure all requirements are met.
- Collaborate with the Kitchen to ensure timely and high-quality food service.
- Ensure banquet areas are clean, organized, and equipment is well maintained.
- Conduct pre-event checks and monitor operations throughout each function.
- Manage inventory and control of operating equipment and beverages.
- Support administrative tasks including payroll documentation and staff records.
- Participate in departmental meetings and daily briefings.
3/ REQUIREMENTS:
- Degree in Hotel Management or related field.
- Minimum 5 years’ experience in international hotels, including at least 2 years in a similar role.
- Strong operational, leadership, and organizational skills.
- Proficient in Vietnamese and English (spoken and written).
- Computer literacy and administrative skills.
- Knowledge of Spanish is an advantage.
